Scott Wacker, PT, DPT, CSCS

Scott Wacker, PT, DPT, CSCS was born and raised in Loveland, CO. He attended Regis University in Denver for both his undergraduate degree in Biology and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During this time he also played baseball for Regis and club rugby. Upon graduation, Scott worked in several out-patient physical therapy clinics in the Denver/Boulder area. He also joined the staff at Regis as an affiliate faculty where his course responsibilities included teaching human anatomy and musculoskeletal management to graduate level students.

Scott joined VSMPT in April of 2008. His areas of expertise include rehabilitation of general orthopedic and sports related injuries. He has a special interest in post-surgical rehabilitation, custom foot orthotics, functional training/exercise prescription, and trigger point dry needling (TDN). Currently, Scott is the only physical therapist in the Vail Valley performing TDN; He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is currently working on his Orthopedic Specialist Certification (OCS). Scott works primarily in the Edwards office and during his free time is very active outdoors. He especially enjoys exploring the mountains with his wife Megan via ski, bike or on foot.
